Thanks for the comment - I had not added that Cowans Hospital was an almshouse built in 1645 for impoverished merchants close to Stirling Castle. I had not realised this building was there until our last visit to Stirling. Its tucked out of the way!

I do have internet issues right now, but I will add more photos of Uist and Benbecula over time.

The colour and qualities in your own small collection is great.

I love the 2nd photo, it captures a peacefull dusk. It would make a great painting too.
