PlaceBook Scotland: Capture your place in words, pictures, video and music.
Hill of Molmont as able to be seen on www.viewat.org.
Sunrise on Tuesday morning relates to the Spirit of this Place.
Prior to the stones being removed and recycled by locals. the stone circle on this hill was 50'0 in diameter.
Since 2009 the central 1926 cairn in enclosed by a square fence.
This, in the 21st Century is quite appropriate.
The current revival of Egyptology and the campaign to save the Egyptian Halls in Glasgow makes the square within the circle vibrate a beautiful crystantheum of an infinite number of petals in the 7th dimension. My mandala in two of my photogaphs is my imagination of the Hill of Molmont at Sunrise on Beltain 2007.
Our forefathers and mothers were more aware of the Spirit of Place. Hopefully as 2011 proceeds Soairse Alba will develop as Nation of Scotland's mission statement.

good see you posting again, I always liked your pictures. just a quick suggestion if you write in Blog instead of discussion you can add pictures to he blog, it can be done with the discussion but doesn't seem to come out as neatly. People can still comment too.

Hi Elli,
I have been spending more time at work and Facebook when online.
Other Braveheart monuments are shown on www.viewat.org.
Hill of Barnweill is particularly meaningful.
There are so many rising spiralling regenerations at present.
I have placed a River Irvine Valley Way page on Facebook to try and capture stories which appear on S1 sites.
Hope all is well and thankyou for your comments.
Alex ;~)
